Hi, any still like to try and get-together sometime? Can we do that here? I play piano....am happy to try out a piece or two with others. I have copies of some Haydn trios if that helps.

Sorry to be so last-minute to get to the point of digging out my chamber music. I am an oboe player. Here are my choices: Cimarosa Concerto for Oboe and Strings (baroque): (one instrument on each part is fine: violin, viola, cello, bass; Boccherini Quintetto in C: need flute, violin, viola and cello--I've never played it; JC Bach Quintet: need violin, cello, viola or viola de gamba, and continue--I've never played it; Telemann Quartet in G: need recorder or flute, violin and continuo; JS Bach Sonata in C minor from the Musical Offering: need violin or flute and continuo (I'd play Violin II part); Quantz Trio Conata in C: need flute, continuo, cello optional. I hope something works out! Continuo = piano of course.

    Hi, Anita:

I can make it to the studio if it is on a Saturday or a Sunday, because I have a day job.

Waiting for your reply and thanks.

Hi Debra, the next meeting is on Sunday, June 8 at 2 pm. If you plan to join in, please email me at [masked] You don't need a stand but if you can suggest some music, that would be great. So far we have cellists, violinists, a pianist, and winds (flute, clarinet, oboe).

I'm an oboist, not in any groups. I have a bunch of WW quintet music and other chamber music. I didn't see the coaching fee mentioned in the website either.

Hi Johanna, if you plan to join in on June 8, please email me at [masked] So far we have a few cellists, a violinist, a clarinetist, and a pianist. Oboe would be great! I don't think there will be enough winds for a quintet but if you have other pieces to suggest involving strings, that would be great. Thanks!

What would be the time? Do I have to bring a stand or music?

    Hello Eleanor and Debra,
It's not too late to find someone to play with for the workshop. You could pick a piece, and send out a message on this Meetup asking if anyone wants to play with you. You should understand that this workshop is coached, and there is a registration fee to cover costs. You can find more information at our website:
    http://www.scholesstreetstudio.com/chamber-music.html
    I hope it works out!
    Best,
    Anita
