Build a Fence and Unchain Lucky!

Come out and help build a fence for a low income family with chained dogs. Give these dogs a new life by unchaining them forever. We build one fence a month and our next build is for Lucky, a mixed breed who loves to wrestle and play with his owners. He is a wonderful, friendly dog and we are going to help him enjoy life with a fence.. The Fence build takes about 2-3 hours with another 30 mins after for Unchaining the dogs. No building/construction experience is necessary. All volunteers will be required to fill out a volunteer information form at their first build. Meeting location will be announced as we get close to the build. We will go out for lunch when we're finished.

NOTE: All builds take place in Forsyth County as that is the area we serve and are done at private residences. To protect the privacy of the the homes, if you are interested in joining on this or future builds which we will post as we get scheduled, please RSVP Yes and you will be emailed the exact address several days before.

I would have loved to have helped with this one! :) I just joined the group...but I hate to see dogs on a chain especially when they can't get to a warm, dry shelter out of the rain or snow. What a great idea this was! I hope to get to help if you ever do this again. :)

Angela, thanks so much for your interest. We build a fence every month and will post them here. It's a wonderful and rewarding thing to do. Look forward to seeing you on a build soon.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
