Support Our Troops with a Coupon-Clipping Party!

Hey, guys! I am a local volunteer for Coups for Troops, a charity that helps collect and send expired coupons to military families living on base, where they can use coupons that are up to six months old at the PX for groceries and other goods. People from all over send me coupons, and often, they aren't clipped out of the circulars yet! I am hoping I can get a group of volunteers to meet and help me clip and pack these coupons so I can send them to the families on base.

This will be a nice, laid-back meetup; we can just sit and chat and get to know one another while we keep our hands busy clipping coupons, and we can enjoy Panera's yummy food or beverages if we like. Please bring a pair of scissors and your awesome self, and if you have any expired coupons you would like to donate, that would be great too!

This Panera location is in the North Elm Village Shopping Center in Greensboro (not the part with the Harris Teeter, the newer part). The Panera is in the front row, right by the entrance across the street from the Wells Fargo (formerly Wachovia). I will try to get there at least fifteen minutes in advance to secure some seating.

Sorry, I cannot make it this week. I am saving lots of coupons, though!

Rats, I just noticed this is conflicting with my next trip to my parents. I scheduled it for the weekend of a festival near there that we could go to. Sorry :(

I hope the weather will be nice. There's not a lot that goes on back home, so it's rare to have something fun and different for us to do together when I visit.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
