Our monthly Hack Night has been gaining momentum, and is now a great event! There is no structure-- come with questions or a project that you'll be working on, and hear what others are up to in your community. Also feel free to suggest a discussion topic and follow up with the attendees there.
I am here and cannot seem to get in. Anyone? [masked]

I'm going to be updating charlotteruby.org with last weeks presentation. If anyone wants to see how we use octopress, grab a chair. Jim also expressed a desire to hack on an authentication system of some sort. It could be this one: https://github.com/charlotte-rub...![]()

Just a reminder that we have a growing number of projects in our github page. We're always looking to add new projects or update existing ones. Feel free to hack on one, ask for help, or be added to the organization to commit!

I'd like to suggest we discuss starting a mentoring/Pairing program for folks learning Rails/Ruby - I have noticed several folks asking about this on the Raleigh listserv and I could use help plus I am sure others could -- Also in the Same vein I can report on an Open Source project we have in China Grove with Mendicant U.
