Add trail running to your list of favorite workouts. This is a beginner friendly run. We will run the Green Loop (the easiest loop there) at an easy pace and won't leave anyone behind. This loop is about 3.5 miles long. Option to run more afterwards including repeating Green Loop or exploring one of the other trails. All runners welcome. If you can run five miles or more on the road you should be able to do this run.

There are several 5k and 10k trail races locally upcoming during the new year. Use this beginner series of runs to train and prepare for them or just come out for exercise away from pavement and asphalt. If you are more experienced feel free to join us and encourage beginner trail runners. If there is interest we will add Sunday runs too.

WWC charges 5$ to park (or buy a season pass for 40$). Run dependent on the trails being open. Always check WWC website before heading out there. If it looks likely that the trails will be closed we may change the location or cancel as needed. In the event of a location change, this posting will be cancelled and the new location posted to avoid confusion.

ALL TRAIL RUNS IN THIS SERIES ARE HIGHLY DEPENDENT UPON THE CONDITION OF THE TRAILS DUE TO WEATHER. THE TRAIL SYSTEMS WE WILL BE USING ARE REGULATED AND MAY CLOSE DUE TO CONDITIONS. BE FLEXIBLE IN YOUR PLANNING AND ALWAYS CHECK THE STATUS OF THE TRAILS ON THEIR WEBSITES TO SEE IF THEY ARE OPEN BEFORE HEADING OUT TO THEM.
