I know that there are over 2000 members in this group now, and i am sure that quite a few of you have kayaks, boats, jet skis, paddle boards what ever. If you like water, live music at least 8 bands, and friendly people, this event is for you...
I just recently moved to the area, and found out about this event last year, it was a blast. I counted well over 130 boats of all sizes and types. I went with my sit on top kayak, launched from River Hills Marina, and paddled straight across to cows cove. Its not so hard to find, its just south of the Buster Boyd Bridge, on the NC side of the lake.

We can meet up at the free public boat launch, next to T-Bones around 1:30. Keep in mind there is no food or drink that i know of there, so be sure to pack a lunch, it goes on till 9 or 10 i think, and definitely BYOB, 2 gas stations by boat launch. Please feel free to email me with any questions at [masked]
Here is a map link showing the meetup location "where we meet up" going to the music fest, keep in mind the map is just to show you where it is, you can not drive there, it is only by boat/ kayak.
