My name is Jim. I love the outdoors. I backpack, kayak, mountain bike, play disc golf and most recently SUP. I live on Lake Norman.

Where is the coolest place you've been?
I like hiking down in Linville Gorge
What's the most adventurous thing you've done?
A winter backpack trip near the Nolichucky River. Snow on the trail made for a different element to face. It was awesome!
Where is your favorite getaway spot?
Locally out my back door onto the lake at my little beach to paddle my SUP or kayak
