May 14 7:00 PM	ChattaMac May Meetup 5 attended (est.) – 5.002 The topic will be all about Hackintosh. We will have a couple of guests who will share their experiences in using Mac OS X Leopard on their PCs and we will discuss installation processes and provide a little bit of direction on how you can begin to experiment with Hackintosh on your own. The purpose is only for fun and only if you own a copy of Mac OS X Leopard yourself. A demo of Windows 7 RC running inside VMware Fusion 2 will also be presented. Please feel free to come prepared to share an application that is valuable to you, as the group is always interested in insight from its members. (Anyone use Skype and would like to demonstrate? - For example.) Alternatively, you may bring your questions, as there are always plenty of experienced Mac users who attend as well. We will be meeting in the conference room at the back of the building and there will be a gallery reception in the front of the building during this time. Feel free to drop by early, visit the gallery, partake in drinks and snacks, and then join us for almost 2 hours of Mac fandom and insight! Mar 23 6:30 PM	WTCI Tour (April's Meeting on March23rd) 8 attended (est.) – 5.003 In place of our April meeting, we will be taking a tour of the WTCI facilities this coming Monday, March 23rd. They operate off of Macs and pro software and they will be giving us a tour and talking with us about how Macs have positively impacted them, what they use and how they work, and what challenges they face. Please arrive by 6:30pm. WTCI is not usually open this late but we were able to make arrangements for this time frame. Nov 08 13 2008 7:00 PM	ChattaMac November Meetup 10 attended (est.) – 4.503 Join us for our November meeting as we will feature a workshop for learning and using GarageBand. Bring your laptops and desktops! Bring projects you're currently working on... or if you don't have any material, we will provide you with material to import into GarageBand on your Mac to follow along. (Bringing your own pair of headphones/earbuds is recommended.) Robert will be giving a brief overview of the application and then allow everyone to follow along in creating a few projects. Questions are welcome along the way. And make plans to join us in January (2009) as Kat will continue the subject to cover Podcasting.
