What chess playing level would you consider yourself at?

Level? I'm way too unbalanced to play on a level. I'm just a patzer and a coffee house player with average ability (unless I forget to take my meds and believe I'm Mikhail Tal; then, watch out!)

Do you have a chess set and/or chess clock? If not, are you interested in getting one?

Set & board, yes. Had a clock, got rid of it. Time-Space-Infinity-: what me worry?

What would you like to get out of the Chess Meetup?

Interesting games where I'm fairly evenly matched with my opponents. Socializing would be a plus, but at my age I don't expect to make new friends; the love of the game is what draws me, and I wouldn't mind doing some post game analysis or acting as a sparring partner for those still into the tournament/ratings scene.

I've been playing chess long before ever since I can remember. Chess influences: Sun Tzu, Alekhine, the Fibonacci series, Duchamp, LSD and Washington Square Park.
