Grade school for me, but I never did much with it except to have fun. That's been some five decades, now. So, I'm not a total beginner. Nevertheless, thanks to my low-brow determination I've successfully managed to avoid becoming very good.
I'm a newbie at this computer stuff ... so my son mocks me, "What would you do without me?" I've been horsing around with chess in the odd corners of the world (Vietnam, Thailand, Afghanistan, Peru, Colombia, Nicaragua, Italy) where I tossed up.
Good people of all ages, very open to newcomers, fun chess at all levels. Great time overall. I'm definitely going back next month and plan to be a "regular."
