Meetup Description:

David, one of our members, let me know about a tournament in Alexandria during the day on Friday. I mentioned this to some of you during our meetup this evening. I know it is short notice, but I think this would be a great opportunity if you don't work during the day. I can't make it, but I'd like to know what it was like. I posted from our message board the details and contact information David gave for the tournament below.

Hello Everyone

This is an unofficial invitation to everyone who would like to join us on Friday, April 24th.

The tournament is very recommended for beginners and intermediate level players or 1100 to 1500 USCFrating

The tournament is unrated (no USCF rating points in play); no USCF membership is required.

The Tournament is free for NVCC students and faculty, otherwise there is a 10 dollar entry fee.

Boards and clocks will be available.

Registration will start at 11:00am
