The Chesterfield Writers Club meets every month on the 1st & 3rd Saturdays at the Chester Library. We encourage new and experienced writers of all genres.

First Saturdays are our ongoing "Craft of Writing" Workshops. These are self-contained workshops that focus each month on one aspect of the elements of writing. If you are a new writer, a re-emergent writer, or an expert who wants to brush up, this is the meeting for you.

Third Saturdays are our "Topics in Writing" Workshops. Discussions focus on publishers, publishing houses, agents, editors and trends in the writing world. Writers of all experience levels benefit.

Every year we publish an anthology.

Anthology 2008 : http://tinyurl.com/anthology2008
Anthology 2009 : http://tinyurl.com/Anthology2009

Both are available for under $7.00 or FREE for e-book download.

We're working on a new book : "The Beginning Writer's ToolKit" which will enable newcomers to the group. Look for it in Spring of 2010.

What members are saying

It's a good group that really moves its members in the direction of publication. The yearly published anthologies are great!

It's a great way to bounce your ideas off of people with diffrent perspectives and aspects of writing. ...
