Going Agile: Product Management vs. Product Ownership

Going Agile is often laden with confusion and huge cultural shifts within a company.  One of the more bewildering aspects of the agile transformation is the evolution of Product Owner role and the supposed change in the role of Product Managers that it entails.  In this session we will attempt to provide some real-world examples, tips and tactics in dealing with this transition.


About the Speaker
​Gordan Redzic is Product Management Leader with an extensive marketing, cloud computing, location based services, software development, UI/UX and quality assurance experience.

As Director of Product Management at Paylocity, a cloud-based Payroll and HR services provider for mid-size businesses. Gordan oversees Paylocity’s product portfolio during a period of unprecedented growth for the company and is focused on extending the company’s product to mobile platforms.

Prior to this, Mr. Redzic was Senior Product Manager, Location Content at Navteq, where he led creation of a location content management platform that drastically improving content creation, distribution, and speed. Gordon began his career at Motorola, where he led an 11-person software engineering team, and managed cross-functional teams and external creative agencies to create and execute product marketing plans.
