Validation: Test Early, Test Often

  • Feb 13, 2014 · 6:00 PM
  • Pathfinder Development

Description:

This presentation will be focused on understanding not only what your product is, but why your product exists and how your product accomplishes its objectives.

We will cover the role and importance of validation, different validation strategies, and how all of this can be incorporated into the product development life cycle.

Jordan's presentations are very casual; with a conversational approach and lots of hands on examples.

About Jordan Braun:

Raised by a family that values work, education, and individualism, Jordan spent most of his childhood reading, solving riddles, and taking things apart. This has had a massive impact on who he is today.

Jordan co-founded the design firm Great Job with the aim to build products and experiences that enable people to live fulfilling lives. Great Job believes that the only way to accomplish this is through collaboration, prototyping, and a rich understanding of the people and problems involved.

As Founder of mvp2scale, Jordan uses his experience with previous product launches to coach start-ups on successfully launching their initial products.

Prior to founding his two companies, Jordan’s work at MentorMob and ICON Technologies included UX, product design, product development, and project management.

While not busy running two companies, Jordan enjoys biking, double espressos, relaxing with friends, and the company of his fabulously chill dog, Nora.

Jordan did a super job at synergyzing industry practices and challenges around testing validation and customer expectations. His deep understanding of the realities of software design and his laid-back approach to presenting and sharing his knowledge and experience were refreshing and enlightening. 'Testing is the process' and his other kernels of truth will help many understand this complex business world that is software design. Kudos and keep it up Jordan! *and thanks to Eric for organizing!

Almost certainly not. Best to assume that the answer is no.
