Introduction

I am a Graphic designer from the area who went to school in Colorado and climbed a bit out there and loved it. I have been to a wall recently and want to do some more climbing!

I just own the basics to climb indoors and a crashpad for bouldering. I am not up on all the latest dvices and brands but wouldn't mind getting to that point some day.

I have just joined Meetup! I am all about indie music and will be spending a lot of time in Chicago (due to work) in the next few months. Thought I would try to find some like-minded people to enjoy some great LIVE ROCK music with. I do not like dance clubs and djs, but I LOVE the diversity and heart of the indie scene!

(About 200 and 400 miles from Chicago respectively.) Most outdoor trips are lead by AMGA (http://www.amga.com) certified instructors. These trips usually require an investment of under $80 and include all the equipment you will need for rock climbing. Happy climbing!
