Announcing a new Meetup for Chicago Rock Climbing Community!

The 4th and last installment of this summer's Thursday Night Series is coming on October 29th!
In theory it's a "bouldering competition" but don't let those two words intimidate you! It's more like a small party with friends you just haven't met yet :D (Think about it, when's the last time you saw "opponents" cheering each other on and helping the other do better?) Ask any climber who's gone to a comp and they'll tell you that they had a great time. There are problems available for all ability levels, from beginner (V0-) to near-expert (V-sick).
$20 registration fee gets you 50+ bouldering problems, pizza and drinks, and an extra day pass to Climb On. Attend any two events, and get a free t-shirt also. There will be awards and raffles at this event.
Climbing starts at 6:30 but you'll want to arrive a little earlier to register.
Climb On is conveniently next door to the Metra Homewood train station. It's a ~40 minute train ride ($4.30 each way) on the Metra from the Millennium station (Randolph/Michigan) in downtown Chicago (at the very latest, you'll want to catch the 5:40 train). TRAIN SCHEDULE
