Responsive Web Design for Foodies presented by David Ip

Join us for a presentation and a roundtable discussion about the strategic and practical aspects of Responsive Web Design.

Responsive Web Design (RWD) is the shiny new toy of 2013. At first glance, RWD appears to be the silver bullet that every organization hopes will solve their multi-channel challenges, but will it? RWD for Foodies will breakdown the pros and cons of the philosophy in an easily "digestible" way for eBusiness, Strategy and Marketing professionals.

David Ip is a mobile veteran across the entire strategy, marketing, advertising, sales & implementation cycle in a large enterprise and startup environment.

David is also a 3 time Digital Marketing & Product award winner:
- 2013 StartupBus Finalist for "MyBestRx.com"
- 2013 SxSW American Airlines Travel Hack winner for "MokiiCo"
- 2012 SxSW AT&T Developer Grand Prize winner for "BoogieUp"

Accreditations:
David was accepted into the Founder Institute in 2013 and certified by DePaul University Kellstadt College in Interactive Marketing in 2012.

David works in the innovation group at BlueCross BlueShield of Illinois (BCBSIL) and the founder of MyBestRx.com. Prior to BCBSIL, David was the Regional Director for AOL Mobile Advertising, a Mobile Marketing Evangelist at Arc Worldwide / Leo Burnett and an Account Manager at Vibes Media.

David was also on the Board of Directors at CIMA, a founding member of the Heartland Mobile Council, a member of MoMo Chicago and the Mobile Marketing Association.

"Act quickly! A spot just opened up for Chicago HTML5 for "Responsive Web Design for Foodies presented by David Ip." Say you're going before someone else does."
But I'm still listed as waitlist.
Isn't promotion to attending automatic? How long does the great machine hold a space before closing it again?

Thanks David. I'm mailing the attendee list as well, to make sure the RSVPs are accurate.

    Since I'm speaking, I hope I don't need to RSVP :)

    Hi HTML5ers,

If you cannot make the event or are not sure if you'll attend, please change your RSVP to "Maybe" or "No" so that other highly interested may be confirmed. From my experience, only 1/2 the RSVPs actually show up.

Thanks and I look forward to meeting all of you.

Hey. Quoting John Fisher's post here: "Hello everyone,

I wanted to let the group know DevBridge will be hosting a free RWD event on the 18th. I'm sure a number of you would be interested.

You can RSVP and learn more through the invite here > http://www.eventbrite.com/org/3104959632

The next class at DevBridge Academy will be an in-depth look at Responsive Web Design (RWD). Responsive Web Design addresses the growing need to cater online content to a variety of devices through a single website: from tablets, to smartphones, to desktops. The class will cover industry insights and trends, creative workflow for designing responsive websites, and a technology workshop explaining media queries and advantages of RWD.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
