A very special Afternoon Knitting Meetup! The Grant Park Orchestra and Chorus will be rehearsing Prokofiev's Alexander Nevsky from 10:30 AM - 1 PM at the Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park, and Meg from our group is in the chorus! Anyone who wants to show up at noon or earlier is strongly encouraged to in order to catch some free music, and we will continue to knit and picnic from 1-4. The pavilion is covered, so this is RAIN OR SHINE, though if there's a hurricane or something we may head for Cafe Bacci (check comments section for updates if the weather is crazy).
BYO-whatever! Wine and treats to share (or keep all to yourself if that's how you roll). There are tons of cafes nearby if you don't plan ahead, but here's your chance to show off your kitchen prowess. Don't forget plates and utensils if required.
Look forward to seeing you there!

We'll be charging the $1 Meetup fee.
As decided by the group, we will now be on a THREE week rotation with Saugatuck Cafe, Aje, and field trips to different cafes around the greater Lakeview-ish area. Be sure to check the meetup site to see where we are.
Please feel free to make suggestions for Field Trip days. We are always happy to try a new place! (Keep in mind we need enough space to accommodate a group sitting for several hours.)
