10/9 at 6:30pm:How StackOverflow Uses (and Doesn't Use) SQL Server
This insanely popular Q&A site serves millions of web pages per day from a Microsoft SQL Server 2012 back end. Believe it or not, the questions and answers come down to just one SQL Server with no full time database administrator. Success at scaling any database-driven app boils down to knowing when it's appropriate - and not appropriate - to use the database.
Brent Ozar specializes in making SQL Server faster and more reliable. He's a Microsoft Certified Master of SQL Server and MVP, and he has over a decade of experience. He coauthored Professional SQL Server 2008 Internals and Troubleshooting, and he loves sharing knowledge at BrentOzar.com.

----------- Parking --------------
I'm adding a map of some of the options to park below. There is always plenty of metered parking on weekdays. The green is metered parking & the blue is free parking. The free parking will fill up fast. I would recommend you take the blue line since it is less than an 1/8th of a mile walk from the DevMynd office.
------------ Bicycles -------------
If you choose to ride your bicycle please park it in the back of the parking lot.
------------ Our door -------------
Is on the North side of the building and is black. If you are at a yellow door or in a parking lot you are at the wrong door for entry.
