Can't Stop the Serenity

Can't Stop the Serenity is a worldwide charity event sponsored by Firefly fans (Browncoats). The local Chicagoland Browncoat group has been working hard to bring the event to Chicago. The main charity is Equality Now and the local charity is The House of the Good Shepherd.

At this event, the movie Serenity will be shown as well as some other surprise items.

There will also be:
* a costume contest
* prize giveaways
* a charity auction

Please see the Chicagoland Browncoat website for more details:

Tickets for the event are:
$10 (if bought in advance through the Chicagoland Browncoat website)
$15 (if bought at the door)

There is a special Pre-Show Mini-Shindig for 30 guests. Tickets are $30 for this. Buy your tickets now (while supplies last)! The pre-show allows you to enter the theater early, get a special "loot" bag, enters you into a special drawing, and more!

I hope that you'll be able to attend. It'll be shiny!

    I plan to get to the theater by 7pm. I will be dressed up in a green skirt with a white blouse and brown leather bodice. If you can't find me, look for Barry, the one legged man. He's hard to miss. :-)

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
