Chicago's original & largest Science Fiction & Fantasy Meetup!

Our monthly meetup is on the first Tuesday of each month. It's a great place to meet folks and talk about random fandom with long time members and newbies in a relaxed setting with no timetable. The rest of the month join us for movies, dinners, and geeky gatherings of all types!

We are an eclectic group into all aspects of Science Fiction and Fantasy including books, movies, TV, gaming and conventions. You are welcome if you've just discovered your first geeky interest or if you have been steeped in fandom your entire life. We all love sci-fi & fantasy and like to talk about it a lot! We have a variety of gatherings every month including our monthly dinner meetup that has been meeting every first Tuesday since Barry (Oneleggedman), our original organizer, first took over the reigns in 2003!

Our meetups range from movies, dinners, museums, outings to city (and Suburban) events, parties and many other events from Science Fiction Cons to Six Flags to visits to labs like Argonne!

Photos are always welcome here on meetup, but it can be a little limited, so check out our shutterfly site for more!
