The Science Cafe Evanston is held from September through November, and then again January through June of each academic year. Science Cafe events will be held at FIREHOUSE GRILL (750 Chicago Ave, Evanston) from 6:30 am - 8:00 pm, generally on the third WEDNESDAY of each month and free and open to the public. This cafe is focused on the adult-level audience.

This PBS Report is almost a year old but describes the situation, includes the presenter Jim Robinett, and shows the threatening Asian Carp.
