Crowdfunding your film or entrepreneurial project is tricky business and takes planning.

There is a strategy and a process before you submit your project.

The director of Chat, Boris Wexler, has extensive experience in the making of low and micro-budget projects. His works range from a multiple award winning feature film made for under $20,000, to his last project, Roundabout American, which shot in over 30 locations with sixty speaking parts on an ultra low budget last summer. Our writer, Paul Peditto, wrote and directed Jane Doe, starring Calista Flockhart. The film was awarded Best Feature at the New York Independent Film & Video Festival and grossed over 2 million dollars. Over 25 productions of his theatrical work have been performed in Chicago and other major American cities, and his adaptation of Nelson Algren’s Never Come Morning won 9 Joseph Jefferson Citations. Other team members include Fred Miller, one of Chicago’s leading independent cinematographers, our very talented editor Jason Robert Becker, and producers Jessica Bahowick, Brian Elles, Lucy Manda, and Brian Woodworth, all experienced professionals in the independent film industry.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the event. Please pay online at the link since it's more if you pay at the door. We have a little wine tasting at the networking portion with Good Vine Wines.

Paul Peditto is now part of it. Plus I listed the price on top not just in the copy. It's $20 to pay online $30 at the door. We wanted to make sure people noticed. You should pay if you have not. It's less. And we can prepare better for seating, beverages, and food.
