At what level of screenwriting are you? Novice (haven't written one yet), intermediate (1-5 finished scripts), advanced (6-10 finished), or expert (10+ finished; or, one or more scripts purchased and/or produced)?

I am a novice with a script in progress. I've done an outline, flash cards, even have a TV Guide-style blurb written. I've written about two-thirds of the script longhand, need to get it finished. Is that common to run into a wall about two-thirds of the way through?

I'm a content director for an Internet company, but I've always thought about writing a screenplay, and in fact have started one. Guess I need some encouragement to finish it. I've been a journalist for about 25 years, an editor for most of them.
