Our World Underwater 2014

  • Feb 14, 2014 · 8:00 AM
  • Donald E. Stephens Convention Center

The 44th annual Our World Underwater is February 14-16, 2014 in Rosemont, IL at the Donald E Stephens Convention Center. This is the Midwest's Largest Dive Show with exhibitors, seminars, manufacturer clinics and film festivals. Wondering what SCUBA gear to buy and wanna talk one-on-one with manufacturers? Trying to plan a dive trip, talk with numerous tropical dive operators and liveaboards to plan that next destination. Want to learn more about shipwrecks, reef creatures, or diving physiology/medicine? Check out the seminars and film festivals with some of the leading experts in the field. DEMA will have the Be A Diver pool on site this year- So, bring your non-diving friends and family so they can "Discover Scuba" and become your new dive buddy! There are some Great Trips being given away during the event and the Silent Auction is Always A Great Event and the proceeds go to a wonderful cause! And don't forget to stop by the art show and vote for your favorite artist's work!

CSM shoutouts! Several CSM members are giving talks this year - check out their seminars! Also, stop by the Children's Activity Area to see Harry and Toothless, two GIANT educational projects that CSM was involved in. Finally don't forget to stop by the ICSSD and UASC booths and say 'hi'!

Was great to see all of you CSM folks at the show! A special thanks to Dean and Jonathan for policing the whale and fixing the 2' hole made by rowdy children. Abhishek, your Swiffer and rolling of the whale was greatly appreciated. Last but not least, Mark N., I'm so grateful for all of your hard work throughout the entire weekend!

I want to thank the Scubapro Company I had lost my Galileo Solo Dive Computer in March of 2013 and it was discovered in December. I had sent it to them In hope that it may be able to repaired. Well the shop had just called me today and said it was repaired and at no charge! Thank You Scubapro! See you all at the show.

There is no Friday a.m. part of the general OWU. We should probably change the event time.
