The 42nd annual Our World Underwater 2012 is coming up February 17-19, 2012 in Rosemont, IL at the Donald E Stephens Convention Center. This is one of the largest midwest dive show with exhibitors and seminars and film festivals. Wondering what SCUBA gear to buy? Talk one-on-one with manufacturers. Trying to plan a dive trip? Talk with numerous tropical dive operators and liveaboards. Want to learn more about shipwrecks, reef creatures, or diving physiology/medicine? Check out the seminars and film festivals with some of the leading people in the field.

Friday's logistics
We'll meet up for dinner at the Embassy Suites Hotel Basil's Kitchen or Tavern (how to get there map) and then check out the film festivals. Plan to meet at the entrance to the exhibition hall at 6:15pm.

CSM shoutouts!  Several CSM members are giving talks this year - check out their seminars!  Also, stop by the Children's Activity area to see Harry and Toothless, two GIANT educational projects that CSM was involved in.  Last, stop by the ICSSD booth and say 'hi'!

Parking and transportation You can take the blue line train directly to the Rosemont convention center (5 minute walking distance). There are two parking options: (1) Park at the Rosemont Convention Center parking lot (generally, $11 per day). (2) Park at the Rosemont CTA lot within 5 minute walking distance to the convention center for only $5 per day.
