I'm a GUE Tech 1 diver and my main interests are shipwreck penetration diving, underwater photography and watching reef critters.

What is the best dive experience you have ever had?
Shark feeding dives in the Bahamas, penetrating the Hilma Hooker and GUEF.
Why did you join the Chicago Scuba Meetup?
To dive a lot and lead by example.
Where have you dived?
Bahamas, Bonaire, Fort Lauderdale, Lake Michigan, Arizona (believe it or not), Milwaukee, Door County and local quarries.
When were you certified? How many dives have you logged?
I was certified 4 years ago and I've done 303 dives.

"Whoever wrote the news story, probably doesn't understand much about drysuits. The air in the drysuit doesn't keep it watertight... It keeps the suit from squeezing the diver."

Diving in a habor (Like Burnham during cleanup)
"I dove in Burnham harbor about 3 years ago and I got an oily residue on my gear. I don't know what the Coast Guard regulations are, but I won't dive in anymore dirty harbors because I don't want oil on my gear...."
