Scubaboard, I think. Possibly Duane Johnson. I forget just about everything after 3 months.
The most memorable is still my first trip to Tonga and the thrill of hearing humpback whales singing (when I could finally take a break from all the huffing and puffing I was doing as a newbie diver). For sheer quality of diving, so far Dumaguette in the Philippines takes the prize.
I moved into the area (West Suburbs) and wanted to find other divers and get more into local diving. I'd have to say that happened!
Lake Michigan, N&S California, Caribbean, the Red Sea, Malta, Tonga, Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand.
Certified in 2003. I have about 450 dives at this point.
I moved to the west suburbs in 2007 and have since gotten more involved every year in local, especially Lake Michigan wreck diving. I'm an Asst. Organizer for CSM and have organized a number of charters. I'm always looking to meet new people.
This group is great. A bit of everything: socializing, local diving, ideas for warm water diving, and great presentations every month. Best of all, this group gets better and more active every year.
