The Semantic Web encompasses a whole suite of technologies and approaches, so working with any of them can make an application "Semantic". However, the goal of integration requires standards to be adhered to, and it is these standards that we will be working with and concentrating on.
Griffin Caprio will be presenting a public RDF database w/ some SPARQL endpoints and give an overview/introduction to querying RDF databases from SPARQL endpoints.
