What's new in CS6 ?

  • Apr 16, 2013 · 7:00 PM

Our Presenter: Michael Riordan - Owner and Adobe Certified Instructor at Digital DesignLab

Presentation Overview: Most of us spend at least part of our day interacting with one Adobe product or another, yet it is difficult to keep track of the various innovations and new products being developed with each Creative Suite release. Michael will give us an overview of what is new and exciting in CS6 especially as it relates to web authoring tools.

Despite broken glasses, Michael provided a good look at CS6, the policies of the Creative Cloud and a general good look at Adobe's direction. Thank you Michael.

I signed up for Creative Cloud mostly to get Premiere (migrating away from Final Cut). Been playing a little with the Edge stuff. But I'm looking forward to finding out what's new in Dreamweaver and Fireworks, as well as Illustrator and Photoshop. Fireworks is my go-to graphics program (the core Adobe products lost me with their dreadful UI changes in the mid 1990s). I only use Dreamweaver for HTML emails any more, but it's worth knowing what's there.

I have CS6. Learning Dreamweaver from scratch, the hard way, using the "Visual Quick Start Guide" manual, as well as many and assorted learning assisted videos, etc.

Having researched enumerable web development programs, this was considered the best choice. And so the beat goes on.

I'd much appreciate contacting a source in order to occasionally confab on certain hangups.
