I’ve posted my response on the message board, as requested, here:
One other thing, there’s no rush on this, but I feel all people who somewhat regularly attend should provide their opinion to this matter.
Looking forward a discussion on this this coming Tuesday.
See ya all.

I want to throw this out to the membership of the Chicago
Dreamweaver Meetup Group and get your opinions. I'm going to send this out as
an email and then post it on the message board. I'd prefer to take your
responses on the message board so that everyone can see what's being suggested.
In the spirit of our December session with Chris Coyier, it seems that many of our members are following and actively using content management systems such as Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, Expression Engine, Ruby on Rails, etc. There are already active meetup groups for each of these content management systems. I'd like to suggest we alter/change our name to reflect more accurately the content of the meetups we are hosting and the support we're attempting to provide our members.
I'm open to your suggestions... indeed, I welcome them. I hate to lose the connection to Dreamweaver, particularly because it is unique in the Chicago Meetup world. (No one else uses the word "Dreamweaver" for their meetups here.) Is there a way we can be more inclusive ie. "Chicago Dreamweaver/CMS Meetup Group" or "Chicago Adobe Web Developers Meetup Group?"
Your thoughts?? (See you next week on Tuesday!)
Organizer, Chicago Dreamweaver Meetup Group
