How do YOU Price out your work? (Hourly, Fixed Rate?)

How do you determine a client's true budgetary needs for any given project?


Everyone is encouraged to discuss past and current projects (no client names, please!).

We've all missed out on some opportunities and this is your chance to improve your position on your bids as well as gain a greater understanding of what clients are looking for.

This will be casual, with sharing of ideas and discussing successful (and not-so-successful) pitching techniques.

    • “ Another excellent exchange of ideas. Two big takeaways: 1. Define what you WILL deliver for any given price as well as what you will NOT. This helps keep client expectations in line with the proposal. 2. If a client budget seems unrealistically low, simply scale back what can be delivered for that amount; over time, it often increases in scope, cost and becomes more reasonable all around. ”
