Chicago Bloggers got off to a good start. We looked at a variety of cool online tools including Odeo, and had a demo from Sy of syscreativeworld of some very interesting audio blogging he is doing.

We looked at the blogs of those who already have them and helped some newbies get connected to blogging tools.

At each meeting, the general plan will be to have a topic and someone who is an expert on that topic, and then to open up to questions, followed by some time to just network and talk to each other.

I'd love to hear ideas or questions that we can take up at meetings.

For January 18th, we'll take up the issue of "Search engines" and how to build an audience.

Please RSVP because I try and get some refreshments, and I don't like to over or under buy. See you there or be square.

NOTE: The bloggers who attended the meetings decided that 7 PM was better than 6:15 PM. I will be around if anyone shows up at 6:15 but I am going to schedule the speaker for 7 PM.
