This weekend is sure to be a blast just a few things to go over. We have quite a few dogs on the waiting list specifically for Life's the Pit's & Small dog pregame. Please make sure you RSVP for YOUR DOG ONLY, you do not rsvp for humans. For instance if you have one dog and two people only rsvp for 1, if you have two dogs and two people rsvp for 1 plus guest :]
Please curb your pup before the playdate and leave toys & treats at home. Monitor and clean up after your pup. No humping or aggressive behavior. No pronge collars while they are playing :}
Over the next few months we will introduce the group to trainers that are conducting classes at Chicago Party Animals. Saturday after Life's the Pit's we have Roger Lautt, a certified nose work instructer of K9 Nose demonstating this unique sport with his pitty Emma. The demonstration is free to all members and starts at 3:15-5:15. He will have some fun giveaways and dogs are welcome during the demonstration however they must stay on leash.
Chicago Party Animals has started a dog & cat food pantry in honor of Patricks Pantry. We are accepting unopened bags & cans of food. This pantry is available to rescues and families struggling to feed their furry babies contact us to arrange a pickup or drop off [masked] (dogs).
CPA is also working with Lucky Dog and accepting gently used blankets, toys & bowls. The Lucky dog organization delivers these items to shelters in need.
Check out Chicago Party Animals on facebook or www.chicagopartyanimals.com for a list of events. We have fun weekly events that are not advertised on this forum however are open to all members.
