Le Bouchon July 12-14
2013 marks the 20th anniversary of the restaurant as the prime spot to experience Parisian culture in Chicago
CHICAGO, June 24, 2013—Cozy French bistro Le Bouchon, 1958 N. Damen, will be open Sunday, July 14 to celebrate Bastille Day and continue to offer diners the most authentic French experience in Chicago. To honor the French national holiday, Le Bouchon’s legendary French Head Chef Jean Claude Poilevey and son, Sous Chef Oliver Poilevey, have created a celebratory quintessential French prix fixe menu for $25 to be offered at the restaurant July 12, 13 and 14. This menu includes Escargot or Salad Lyonnaise, Steak Frites or Trout Grenobloise and Mousse au Chocolat or Crème Caramel. To compliment either the prix fixe menu as well as the restaurant’s regular menu (which will also be available), Le Bouchon is offering $1 Kronenbourg, the best-selling premium lager in France.
With a friendly, cozy and undoubtedly Parisian reputation, Le Bouchon has been serving Chicago residents a taste of Paris since 1993. It has been named a “relaxed neighborhood sort of place,” (Chowhound) and “feels like it was plucked from a Parisian side street” (CitySearch). Le Bouchon, a quintessential French bistro is in the heart of Chicago’s Bucktown neighborhood at 1958 North Damen Ave. Chicago, IL 60647.
