The Nerdologues Game Night: Werewolf w/ Max Temkin!

Hey Nerds,


We're pretty darn stoked about this upcoming game night. We're going to hang out a little bit earlier than last time, start at 5pm for some casual hanging/gaming. Then at 7pm, we're going to roll out a new set of Werewolf Cards as designed by Max Temkin, one of the Cards Against Humanity game creators.

Entrance is free, the bar is open, and booze will be cheap.

It'll be a really awesome night!

    The meetup was lots of fun. I can easily see myself becoming addicted to lycanthrope shenanigans in the future! In irreverent honor of the Easter season, I present to you my idea for a one-shot Werewolf character: The Saviour. He acts as a regular villager and cannot reveal his class. If he is lynched, he "rises from the dead" three rounds later and rejoins the game. He can no longer vote or be lynched but gains the powers of the Doctor/Bodyguard and does not count towards totals for majorities required for lynching or deciding a villager or werewolf win.

      Your idea of the savior is interesting, but he does too much. Like, when I think of the savior, my mind just goes back to the doctor, except your version spoils the entire game. The only way I see this working is if he acts like a unique version of the seer where he oust one player's identity (once per game) and they have to reveal it during sunrise. The players can kill them immediately if they're the werewolf. The downside of course is if they're anything but they're an open target the rest of the game. Might want to rename him the snitch.
