Family Game Day At The Library

During the month of March the Chicago Public Library is hosting Family Game Days.

2 days of unbridled fun for families.  Our hope is to drum up support for our monthly Game Nights the second Wed of every month.

Word games, train games, and light strategy will be played.  Patrons are welcome to bring games of their own to share.  Please note: This is not a drop off event for young children. Parents or older siblings are expected to stay and play as well.

We had a very nice time. There were 7 teens, 3 adults and 7 children who showed up. They all happen to be regular library patrons so they did not RSVP. We played werewolf, The Resistance, Over and Out, Spot It, and Jenga. There is usually someone leading arts and crafts as well. Hope to see some meet up people next time.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
