Cinco de Bilbo / Bilbo de Mayo

Forget Cinco de Mayo. Come to Cinco de Bilbo!

We're teaming up with Chicago Loot Drop to raise some money for kids!

With the murders and crimes of last month’s sketch show behind us, the Nerdologues are back again with an absolutely brand-new show for May - this time with more swords, more sorcery, and more evil villains!

Imagine a world where the Cubs keep doing better and better. With their success, the darkness of Wrigleyville spreads, raising the drink prices higher and higher at every bar in the city. The Nerdologues, finding themselves caught up in this blue-and-red-tinted evil, journey forth as any true adventuring party would - to find cheaper drinks, the source of the madness, and ultimately ... themselves. After all, the greatest adventure is the one that lies ahead or something.

Stick around after the show for a live screening of the original 1977 classic animated film The Hobbit with plenty of sing-a-longs and laughs. On a big screen! In a proper theater! With booze!

Tickets are $10 for the whole evening, and half of every ticket goes to benefit Chicago Loot Drop and all the awesome charity work those dudes do. Bring some friends, meet some new ones, and let’s celebrate Cinco De Mayo right... in a theater, with sketch comedy and a screening of The Hobbit.

Bottom line:  It's $10.  Get tickets here:

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
