Today we're going to be trying out the Neutron York 3000 ruleset for Post-Apocalypse Skirmish.  NY3k is a fast-playing, tongue-in-cheek warband size skirmish game and one of the top contenders as we search for a ruleset to use for our Winter 2013 Campaign which will start in January and be Post-Apocalyptic in theme.

For those without rules and miniatures, they will be provided. Those who want the rules, can find them as a $7 download here: http://www.wargamedownloads.com/item.php?item=980&site=NY3Kblog

For those who have the rules and will be bringing a warband, make a 300 point list using the Faction List and Generic profiles on Page 15. Weapons are WYSIWYG using the stats on page 17.

Chicago Skirmish Wargames is a friendly and relaxed group of miniature wargamers that has been meeting since July of 2010. We play many genres and scales, but our primary focus is fast-play 28mm skirmish level (8-20 miniatures per side) Fantasy and Sci-Fi and Post-Apoc gaming. We meet bi-weekly (sometimes more often) at members' homes.

We welcome visitors anytime regardless of gaming experience level. Ownership of appropriate painted miniatures is never necessary for gaming with us. We've got plenty to share, just let us know that you're coming so we can have some ready for you.

As this is a meetup at my member's home, PLEASE RSVP your intention to attend so I will know how many tables to prepare.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
