My favorites tend to be heavier Euros. I like when a game: 1) encourages the best strategy to win without making it easy to see, 2) incorporates enough luck, variety, balance, and/or complexity that the game isn't easily "solved" with an always-win strategy, and 3) varies significantly between sessions. Recently I've been playing a lot of Through the Ages, Le Havre, Agricola, Android: Netrunner, and a few others. There was a time when I played a lot of Race for the Galaxy but after a few hundred plays I burned out.
Weekends are better than weekdays, but I don't have many recurring plans, so it varies week to week.
A fellow Board Game Geek member recommended the goup to me.
