Great to spend an evening with friends playing some easy country and blues music. The new cajon and SM58 worked great. Some of the songs we did include two Johnny Cash numbers, Folsom Prison Blues and Ring of Fire. We also played some two note power chords, or dyads, in blues fashion. I got a chance to run through Sonny Boy Williamson II's Checking Up On My Baby one time with Dan Tillotson laying down some excellent bass, which really blends well with the harp on that particular song. A great evening jamming on the south sub-urban side with CHM folks and guests.

January's Jam featured many blues and country songs. We continue in the same vein for February- bring your major harp keys!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
