Super Harmonicology music from Joe Filisko, CHM members Pat C., Jim L., John, Asher and more. Joe Filisko's students and many friends also filled the stage. The joint was jumping! Linda's duet with Joe was fantastic, wasn't it? And Kevin's original "Racetrack" was super! And I'm a fan of Jim Lucas' original "51 Ford." And it was nice to see many of our members in attendance, supporting our performers. A terrific evening of American roots music, Blues and original harmonica and lyrics. Joe's song "Peg Leg Sam" from his "Missed Train" CD was rendered slow and cool. One more excellent Meetup, thank you CHM!

I was glad to see Patrick, Mike DiVarco, Phyllis and Alan at Harlem Ave. It feels good to be supported by fellow CHM'ers. Mike was able to stay for the second set, in which Joe invited his talented students to perform more solos while he and Zoe played backup. Even I was invited but was totally unprepared for that! Next time I'll be ready.

This was a great night of music by Joe and his students. I particularly liked all of the original blues pieces. It certainly was apparent that everyone was having a great time playing and singing the blues.

Wow, what a performance. First time I have heard Joe Filisko and he is definitely a master. The group was tremendous and It was great that so many had an opportunity to do solo's. Lots of fun.
