What do feel is the toughest obstacle facing the ground floor inventor in this global environment?

Going it alone. The obstacles begin after the patent process; I'd sight access to and network connections with manufacturers and or firms who might have an interest in licensing.

How much time to you spend per day, per week, or per month on inventing or on invention-related activity?

10-20 / Week

Okay, such choices are tough, pick one more if you want or name a new category.

So, are you an: inventor, model maker, industrial designer, patent agent or lawyer, manufacturer, an investor or a dreamer?

I am an inventor. I don't hold a patent - nor have I gone through the process - but have some current projects in the works. Years ago I successfully prosecuted a Trademark Application for a business I owned which I later sold to a large public company.

Introduction

Originally from Philadelphia, married, living in Chicago. MBA, Software Consulting by day. Constantly creating.
