In now have a 1971 blue 850 spider. I am the 3rd owner.
In 1969, I purchased my 1967 Fiat 850 spider. It was saddle beige which under street lights appeared to be purple. Shortly after buying it, it was struck by a new driver who had only a learner's permit. Also he was with is mom with him. Poor guy. I wonder if he ever got his license. I then had it totally painted Daytona Yellow. This was 2 years before the 850 was acutally offered by Fiat. Marriage and children were the reason it was sold.
Everday driving my 850 is a story and a memory. The top is down when the temp is above 38F. Why have a convertable if you don't have the top down.

Regretfully, like most organizations who have a few who do the most. We have more drivers than members.
