About our location: we are very pleased to be holding this course at the Institute of Cultural Affairs (ICA). The “Greenrise Uptown Learning Laboratory” demonstrates a creative culture for living and
working within a historic 8-story building on the north side of Chicago. It is also the home for an intention- al residential community. ICA is creating a “green culture” among its diverse tenants while establishing an energy efficient eco-system that aims to take the entire building off of the grid.
