Regarding the Rules of Sparring, styles, etc.

Hi all.

Since there was some confusion as to what we do, how the matches are held, and other issues, I'd like to take a quick moment to break it down.

The rules for each match are decided upon by the two people sparring, within reason. NO extremely hard contact, since I assume we all have lives and jobs, and no one wants an injury. Beyond that, it is up to you.

Are you a boxer? Then tell your opponent to limit the match to hand techniques.

MMA/ Muay Thai? BOTH opponents have to be clear on whether to allow leg kicks, take downs, etc.

Light contact or moderate contact? Face or no face? Rules are meant to be flexible and respectful.

It's a quick convo - My match of choice is medium to moderate contact, kicks and punches, no elbows, no kicks to the knee.

Everyone is welcome.
