Kale Soup 4 the Soul: Luso writers read about food, family & Portuguese culture

Nationally-known Luso writers gather to read poetry, fiction and non-fiction about Portuguese culture at the Chicago Culture Center March 2nd, 6:30PM.

5th Floor, Washington Room

This is a free event to be held during the Associated Writing Program's conference in Chicago.

We would LOVE it if members of Chicago's Portuguese-speaking community could join us for what promises to be a lively evening. There will be wine and snacks and the event is FREE.

Great news! we have a band., The local Chicago group "About a Girl" will be performing for us.

I'd appreciate everyone's help in spreading the word. Send me an email at [masked] if you have suggestions or questions. I'm based in California so I am organizing this event from afar. Thanks for your help! Millicent http://www.MillicentB...

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
