1st Ever Official WCW Charity Event!

  • Nov 13, 2006 · 7:00 PM
  • Waveland Bowl

Ladies and Gents, It has long been the aim of this organization to give back to the community in some way. We have been very lucky in Chicago to pull together such a great group of people, and use many of the great facilities this City has to offer. As time goes on, we will be looking to have a very active part of the group that will volunteer its services to those organizations that need it most. Anything from soup kitchens, to testimonial soccer matches, to just volunteering our time to a worthwhile cause. So, courtesy of our one of most bigger-than-life-itself members, Warren Fried, we have our first officially organized event next Monday at Waveland Bowl, in Chicago! Warren is the founder and director of Dyspraxia USA, a not for profit organization that aims to provide programs which educate the public on issues faced by people who have a disability, including Dyspraxia and other Neuro Diverse Conditions. Warren himself has Dyspraxia, and you can find out more about the condition at Warrens website here:
http://www.dyspraxiau... Monday night will be a big event for Warren and his organization - he will be interviewed by Kathern Meyer from ABC News! Warren is one of our members who has been with us since the start, and is one of most regular soccer players, so we would like to pay him back by throwing the full weight of WCW FC behind his efforts. So, please please see if you can join us on Monday night, at Waveland Bowl at 3700 North Western, Chicago, at 7pm. This time in the evening is 'Cosmic Bowling' and a very fun time is guarenteed to had by all! Warren also has people and friends from other organizations in Chicago, so this should turn out to be a great event! Of course, all of this is forgetting that we can some great exposure for WCW FC in addition to helping Warren, so there are many reasons for you to be there to help us help Warren! Please RSVP to let us know if you can make it - if you bought a WCW FC shirt, then PLEASE wear it on the night!! The more people that wear it, the more prominent we'll be! I think it's fair to say that everyone had a great time... much praise to be heaped on Warren for keeping his cool in front of the cameras!

Free pizza, free beer, free bowling, great company and all for a good cause. Excellent (and I broke 100 on my second game.)
