Playing indoor during the spring/summer/fall

We'd like to explore the possibility of continuing our indoor tournament and pickup program during the outdoor season. These games are very popular, but because of outdoor field prices, we'd have to continue do it indoor as opposed to outdoor (plus the formats are much better suited to indoor). Please tell us whether you'd still be interested in playing either of the two indoor weekly tournaments, the indoor pickup or the indoor 4v4 tournaments. If there is demand, we'll continue to provide them. You may pick more than one choice. Thank you! PS - all votes are anonymous.

What would you like us to do with Hawthorne Park?

Is there a format or scenario that would see you playing at Hawthorne Park on a Wednesday evening? Please choose as many answers below as you'd like.

Usage of Hawthorne Park turf field on Wednesday evenings

We have commitment to 4 hours every Wednesday night at the Hawthorne Park turf field. We have to pay for this field space even if we don't use it. In the winter, we hosted 2 weekly tournaments on a Tuesday and a Friday and they were always sold out with a waiting list. We have tried to move these games outside - exactly the same format, but longer playing time and for only $1 extra. So far, nobody has been interested and we need to know why. Please take a second to tell us why you aren't interested in these 5aside Wednesday evening tournaments, and then after take the poll that tells us what you'd like to see us do with the field. Please answer as honestly and sincerely as you can. You can choose multiple answers. Thank you!

Would you still continue to play with us if we moved to Foster Field permanently?

After a great, great time on Sunday at Foster Field, we are considering making it our permanent home. We normally have lots of space, the ground is better, we usually have use of at least one full field with goals and nets, it has free parking and it's right by the lake. An Ice Cream man usually visits us too! We are worried that Grant Park will become more and more unavailable as the summer goes on. The main benefit of Grant Park is its very central location. But, Foster Field is within a few blocks of the Red Line and the 146 bus which goes up and down Lake Shore Drive stops right at the field. We are putting a poll out because we don't want to move if it will adversely affect our membership. SO, if you have played with us before, or will be playing with us very soon, will you still come if we're at Foster Field? The official address is Foster Ave & Lake Shore Drive. PLEASE vote on this poll, it is VERY important. I'll also post this on the message board, so post thoughts there.
