Church of Beethoven Concert Series Presents: Chicago Harp Quartet!

On Sunday, February 24th there will be a concert in Oak Park of the Chicago Harp Quartet at the Church of Beethoven Concert Series. You can check out their series at: I just thought it might be a great meet-up because it has a few social parts of it already worked in. you meet for coffee at 10am, then the concert lasts from 10:30-11:30am and then there's a brunch across the street people can go to.
Lynn is the founder of the Quartet and also the Principal Harpist of the Lyric Opera Orchestra. Its going to be a great program of recognizable music (Bach Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 for example) and some more contemporary music (Adams China Gates) and finishing up with a set of South American songs.
Lynn is our member Host...Thank you!
Please contact Lynn if you need more details. The quartet will be attending the brunch, so it could be a 'meet the artists' type of thing too!

Thank you all for coming this morning! We had a great time performing to a sold out crowd! Sorry if any of you didn't get in, we had no idea we'd sell out the theater!

I was planning to attend but now need to help someone with a volunteer commitment. I will try to show up if that changes last minute. :)

Hi All! I'm so excited that you will be able to join us for the concert Sunday. I've found out that the 'official' brunch after the concert is at Eastgate Cafe, 102 Harrison St. It is not across the street from the Theater but able .5 miles down the road. They give concert patrons a 15% discount. As of right now I am planning on attending with the other 3 harpists and friends and we'd love to see you there! There is a small possibility that we will not be able to attend if the theater does not allow us to store our harps during brunch. Before the end of the concert I will thank the audience for attending and invite everyone if we are going to the brunch. I look forward to meeting you all at least at Coffee and after the concert. Thanks!
